Meet the Doctors


Christopher R. Lynch, MD, Internal Medicine

President, Analyte Physicians Group

Dr. Lynch is President of Analyte Physician's Group. He completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, graduating summa cum laude with degrees in Music (piano performance) and Biological Sciences. He was elected into the National Music Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa Society, and was awarded a Presidential Scholarship for academic performance. Also at SMU, Dr. Lynch was elected into the Robert Stuart Hyer Society, a distinction reserved for the upper 1% of the student body. He went on to earn his medical education at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and then completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center; he received his Internal Medicine board certification in 2006.

Dr. Lynch has been in private practice for four years, consisting of both inpatient and outpatient medicine, as well as caring for skilled nursing facility patients. He is also attending physician and a faculty member of the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Through his affiliation with the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine, he teaches medical students and residents both in and out of the classroom. In 2009, he was recognized for excellence in the medical school's Problem-Based Learning course and, the next year, he was nominated for the Problem-Based Learning Teacher of the Year award. His clinical interests include preventive care, women's health, cardiomyopathies, mood and anxiety disorders, thyroid disease, kidney disease, diabetes, asthma and an array of rheumatological and dermatological interests.

Dr. Lynch is an avid hobbyist in computer hardware, software programming and networking. He recognizes the Internet as an emerging modality through which patients and physicians can communicate and a variety of medical services can be provided. He believes that consumer-driven healthcare and virtual medicine will soon transform the way care is delivered. Together with Analyte, Dr. Lynch is dedicated to providing virtual healthcare with the highest medical and ethical standards while broadening its scope and patient accessibility...he will continue to advocate for the integration of virtual medicine into mainstream patient care.

Lisa Oldson, MD, Internal Medicine

Medical Director, Analyte Physicians Group

Dr. Oldson earned her medical training and residency in Internal Medicine at Rush University in Chicago; she stayed on an additional year to serve as Chief Resident and has been on staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago since 1998. As a medical student, resident and Chief Resident, Dr. Oldson held various leadership roles, including Student Council President of her medical school and Housestaff Council President, the governing organization for all residents and fellows. During her residency, she was recognized as Intern of the Year and Resident of the Year, and also received a state award as the Outstanding Resident Physician in Illinois. Additionally, Dr. Oldson is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha; a member of the Advisory Board of the Discovery Institute of Medical Education; and a former member of the Advisory Board of the Illinois Science Council. At the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine, she teaches medical students and residents, alongside caring for patients.

In 2009, Dr. Oldson met the Analyte team and became intrigued with the idea of offering patients online options in healthcare. She quickly recognized the value of offering innovative alternatives for evaluation and treatment of certain health conditions. Specifically, she views online consultations as a means to provide professional, trusted medical care through a convenient and more affordable healthcare delivery model. Dr. Oldson believes that smart healthcare consumers will welcome the opportunity to work with the highly qualified members of the Analyte Physicians Group when it's medically appropriate to diagnose and treat certain concerns online and through phone consultations.

Ruthann M. Cunningham, MD, Emergency Medicine

A member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Cunningham practices at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital in Illinois and at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center in Wisconsin.

Dr. Cunningham graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Michigan State University and completed her medical education at Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and has been practicing since 2000. As an ER physician, she regularly treats patients with STDs.
