Helping Pharmaceutical Companies Find New Patients and Promote Adherence

.

SITUATION

.

Pharmaceutical companies spend more than $6 billion a year in direct-to-consumer advertising in the United States.

Much of this is very limited in its targeting, including broadcast media, transit and billboard advertising. Additionally, the call to action is generally indirect and centered around the phrase “ask your doctor”. As a result, many of these campaigns are less efficient than brand leaders desire.

SOLUTION

.

Our Health Knowledge solution meets the dual challenges of better targeting and a stronger call to action. Designed as a turn-key digital marketing campaign to test consumers for certain diseases and conditions, the Health Knowledge solution empowers pharmaceutical brands to accelerate patients towards effective diagnoses. Depending on clinical and compliance guidelines, our telehealth physicians may counsel patients, refer them to other care providers, or in very limited situations, dispense treatment (possibly including drug therapy) –all within three days and available on a national level.

Through a Health Knowledge campaign, the sponsoring pharmaceutical brand subsidizes education, laboratory testing and physician consultation for targeted consumers. After completing a medical intake form using their preferred device (smartphone, tablet, desktop), consumers are offered a clinical recommendation about testing via the nearest brick and mortar lab, in-home sample collection, or mail-based sample collection kits. This approach smoothly and appropriately moves consumers from awareness to diagnosis to the treatment stage of the care cycle.
